Water Slider / Decal Nail Art - Part 2

Water decals (also known as nail art sliders) are an easy way to create different designs on the nails. it does not protrude and will last if applied correctly and sealed properly.
With polish:
Apply nail polish to the nail and let it dry.
Select a design and cut it out of the sheet. Leave a manageable edge and do not cut into the design. If it is too big you can remove excess after you have placed, it onto the nail.
Place 1 or 2 drops of water onto a sheet and place design with backing sheet facing down on top of the water.
Wait 10 to 15 seconds before lifting the design. The backing sheet should remain behind.
Remove excess water.
Slide the image from the backing paper and place it on the nail plate.
Gently smooth the design with an orange stick or brush.
File excessive film.
Ensure no water on nail before sealing with a topcoat.
With Gel polish:
Apply gel-polish of a needed color and cure as normal.
Cut selected design out of the sheet. Trim it to the size of your nail to avoid overlapping on the skin.
Place 1 or 2 drops of water onto a sheet and place design with backing sheet facing down on top of the water..
Wait 10 to 15 seconds before lifting the design. The backing sheet should remain behind.
Remove excess water.
Apply a top coat. Don’t cure yet!
Slide the image from the backing paper onto the nail (uncured top coat). Gently smooth the design with a brush or orange stick water with a tissue.
Cure for 30 seconds
File excessive film.
Seal with top coat and cure completely.
Remove tacky residue as normal.
